Mosaic Classes in Crieff
I run a variety of mosaic classes in Crieff which are the creative equivalent of a spa weekend! The tutor is Jan Kilpatrick of Wild Tiles, a great teacher who taught me the art of mosaic many years ago. Jan now lives in Ullapool, but comes down to teach the classes here.

2013
Easy 2D Garden Mosaics Sat 16th March & Sunday 17th March 2013
This weekend introduces you to two possible methods of making mosaics for your garden walls and fences, so planning for summer but in the comfort of a local studio. Vouchers available should you wish to give a place on this course as a gift.

Outdoor Mosaics - Garden Sculpture 5-day intensive class - Monday 13th May until Friday 17th May 2013
Focusing on making garden sculptures in mosaic by three different methods, this course opens up a whole world of fun for garden art. You will also have the opportunity to learn other mosaic skills such as working with mesh and the application of mosaic onto walls.
You should have completed one of Jan's mosaic weekends or have extensive experience of making mosaics with a variety of materials (glass, stoneware, bone china etc) to participate in this class.
Please note that table tops will not be covered during this week (2014 will be the year for that!)

Outdoor Mosaics Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May 2013
A mosaic workshop focusing specifically on frost resistant outdoor mosaics, in anticipation of a glorious summer in the garden. This craft course uses such diverse materials as slate, plant pots and concrete along with stones, porcelain and glass to create stepping stones, bird baths or wall slates.
£215 per person, sharing a twin-bedded or double room; £240 per person, single occupancy
Residential Weekend Indoor Mosaic Course - Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd November learn the techniques of cutting and nipping tiles and other ceramic items to create several pieces of mosaic art. This art holiday will give you the basic skills to create wall panels and mirror frames in the class and give you the courage to extend your skills once at home.
