This tiled kitchen is in my own home. I love the idea of open shelving in a kitchen, but as we do B&B it isn't really practical, so I replicated it in mosaic.

This mosaic is made mostly of ceramic bathroom tiles and broken crockery, all hand cut to form the shapes of different kitchen items. Whilst there was a bit of a textural quality to it, due to the different height of the tiles used, it would still be easy to maintain.

Whilst it is a bit quirky, it does show how mosaic can be interpreted in many different ways!
