Granny Nina's kitchen needed a make-over, and making a relatively small splashback with chickens really brightened it up. made with ceramic tiles.

This mosaic is made mostly of ceramic bathroom tiles, all hand cut to form chicken feathers and flower shapes. Whilst there was a bit of a textural quality to it, due to the different height of the tiles used, it would still be easy to maintain.

The kitchen was quite dark, and so by using a bright palette of colours, it made the whole space much brighter and lighter!
